hello tooties...
this blog has been collecting centuries of dust and I think that it's time that I update it otherwise it'll go stale. hurr
have got lots of things to update but I don't know how to update about it cos there are tonnes and tonnes of it.haa
anyways, I have just turned 18 recently and thanks to all the wishes.hee.. Love all of you guys even though I have not been meeting up with you guys, You are definitely not forgotten. On 2nd June, actual I-can-watch-M18-movies day, I was at home in the day but in the evening went out for dinner with my family. Was supposed to go eat at Sakae at WM but changed plans to Sakae at Changi Airport as my brother had to go to some Mayday Concert at Expo. wE went changi because it's more convenient and he can join us for the dinner. Upon arriving at Changi Airport, we went up to the level where all restaurants are located and we chanced upon Fish&Co instead of the original idea of Sakae. We decided to chnge location since I have not been to Fish&Co before. Sat down and looked through the menu... Had problems with what to eat and so each of us just chose one and shared among ourselves.
The ambience there was powder-ful and FABULOUS man!! The portion of food was huge, humongous and plenty. I was filled to the max till I could not possibly feed myself the next day. Took some pictures and all but haven got the time to post it up. haa
Sunday, was lazing at home in front of the computer screen when alfee asked if I wanted to go town and meet them late afternoon after his bike license. I thought that it was a good idea since I'm really free that day and decided to go. Met them at orchard train station at 5 even though the actual meeting time was 4.30. I got their msg at 4.10 telling me that they are meeting 4.30 at orchard. Lucky thing was I asked Jun Wei and left home like long ago and when I received the msg, I was already reaching. haha
we then went to taka and bought like some choco den off to far east for subway and decided to go somewhere to slack since we had ample time. Decided on Clarke Quay and headed there. found a nice spot to sit and soon enough we were falling asleep and so reena and I got up and walk walk in the mall, at the same time looking for some munchies. then returned and this time round, mw came along too think cos the guys are all busy meddling with their psp. ha
took some pictures, emo pics, un-glam pics and all.
those were just what took place recently lo. cant possibly blog down the rest as it's just way way too much to be penned down.

hey tooties...
have been away for quite some time and has been busy so have not been updating constantly.
I have just returned from a 4 days 3 nights chalet at the aranda club. The first day was more of a mess cos there were many things to settle and some were not cooperative but towards the end of that day, had lots of fun cos of the game that sponge introduced to us. It may seem like gambling but mind you, we were not gambling. The whole lot of us consisting of yanzi, yati, sponge, jun wei, hafiz, vervon, alfee, hazmi and melvin were playing the game that was like blackjack but it wasn't. Each player is given 2 cards and given an opportunity to change one of the cards from the deck. The person with the least number upon adding gets to do a forfeit but imitating the actions of a sea creature or an animal.
The rest were up in the chalet enjoying watching the dvd provided by liying and busy playing mahjong.
The rest of the days were mostly occupied with mahjong and from the chalet, I have learnt how to play mahjong all thanks to the mahjong queens at the chalet. It was them who taught us how to play mahjong and on the last night when some of them drank, liz got all high and while playing mahjong, she was sober but making lots of noise. hahaha.
Afterall, it was fun and enjoyable. After some time of mahjong, I got all tired and decided to go to bed while the rest of them continued but invented new games using the mahjong set. They playes snap and donkey till the wee hours of the day while the rest were already fast asleep.
the chalet was a nice and enjoyable one but could have more fun if we were able to go to the wild wild wet which had seemed so tempting to us as we looked out of our balcony.

fifth day of new year
hey tooties...
the chinese new year has been a really fruitful and enjoyable one to me. It's also a time where all the cousins get together as a whole and catch up with one another after not meeting for so long. Espeially the cousins on the maternal side. I have not been seeing them as often as my sister due to the competitions and trainings. Miss the gatherings due to trainings and competitions and all but it was nice to gather again and play games together. We managed to bond with one another and enjoyed one another's company and presence. the fun seems to have come to an end now as there has been lesser people coming to my house to "bai nian".
my family decided to buy the "yu sheng" which we cantonese call it " lou hei ". we had all gathered around the table and prepared to do the " lou hei " as a family. the atmosphere was the best of all because it was a situation whereby we shout and verbalise all forms of prosperous words and while in process of the " lou hei " and my siblings and I were having fun because I started to put the things on my sister's hand and my brother then followed suit. hahaha...
my sister then tried to put on myhand but she went overshot and it landed on my grandmother's hand and onto the table. My mum den said, " jialat , lou dao man di dou shi ". haha.. the way she said it made my sister and I laugh non-stop.
overall, today was quite alright for me but the trying of uniform kind of turns me away from working there anymore. whaha

chinese new year
hey tooties...
the festive season that most chinese have been long awaiting for has finally came and it is the day where we receive givings and red packets from the elderly people and where we would feast on delicious-yummylicious food cooked by my relatives.
on every first day of the new year, my family would always set off to visit my relatives first which is my grandfather's brother, somewhere in commonwealth and then to my grandmother's house located in ghim moh. this year, there was a slight change in plans where we went to my youngest auntie's house first, then to the second eldest which was a pit-stop for lunch and then lastly to my maternal grandparents place. it was a time of catching up and enjoyment amongst all the cousins whereby we enjoy ourselves by engaging in a time of joy and excitement. we played the game "ooga" which resulted in the chaos happening. the party game made everyone look funny though it was a brainless game. we then proceeded on with another game while the adults were busy with the karaoke session in the living room. the main purpose of the games were to keep the young adults and kids occupied instead of falling asleep due to the boredom engulfing us.
after the enjoyment, we left and proceeded to the coffeeshop opposite my house for dinner where we feasted on the finger licking good food. yumyum
after dinner, we headed back to my house and of course once again started playing another game which was "ticket to ride" wherey we have to strategise on the best route and score as many points as possible by building the correct routes and completing the allocated routes.
think this new year season would result in me putting more weight.chinese new year is an occasion whereby we eat and eat and eat non-stop.
guess I'll have to start gym-ing when I return back to school to lose some calories.hahahaha
that's all for today. I have to go off already and prepare for tomorrow where many people would be coming over. another day of feasting and enjoyment.!

chinese new year eve
hey tooties...
It's the chinese new year eve today. Woke up in the morning, finding the house very busy as I had woken up late cos I'm too tired from the previous night. Left east coast park around 11 and found that it was too late for me to hop onto the last train and so I decided to take a bus with sponge all the way to clementi. Luckily, Ihad sponge who lives somewhere near the west. I took the bus with him and alighted at clementi. Then I had my dad to come fetch me from there which I reached home around 12.45.
The eve of chinese new year is quite boring as I had nothing much to do but to slack it away. After that, I had decided to make some jelly goodies to treat people who will be coming to my house for visiting during the new year season. After the jelly making, played around with my stick for a while and then took a shower to prepare for the reunion dinner. Had a rather sumptious meal prepared by my mum but before that, while waiting My siblings and I had played a bit of the board games before indulging ourselves in the saliva-dripping meal. That was all for the eve of chinese new year.Think I have to help prepare for the day of Chinese New Year later before the clock strikes mid-night and have some kind of enjoyment later.
Wish all of you a Very Happy Chinese New Year and a fruitful year ahead!
