hey tooties...
guess it’s time for me to update since I had not updated it before I went for the trip
The trip was the best and the most memorable trip even though it was so-called a training trip, we had equivalent amounts of fun too.haa
Let’s start it from Day 1.
Assembled in school as early as 7am to wait for the arrival of our dear advisor, coaches and the bus, told that the bus would be leaving as early as 7.30am but apparently at 7.30, none of the above mentioned had reached and so we our coach since she was still not here yet. We found out that she was still at home.WOW! All of us boarded the bus with our hearts bursting with excitement. Took a couple of pictures before departure from our school, took some on the bus and on the way there. The time taken for us to arrive at KL is much longer than the time we take to come back. We never knew the reason why but that was what we found out. The first day was the most tiring day because upon reaching KL, we found that our hotel were not ready for us and so we headed straight to the court for trainings. Should understand how we felt the moment we reach the court.hahaha
We are super-ly pampered kids la. We have to fix the boards which are of worse condition as compared to the boards we have here, the court is also in a not-so-good condition but can still be used. Training on the first day seems to drain us of our energy totally only after 1 hour of the training. Guess we are still not used to the court.
Day2
Started off with a sumptuous buffet breakfast, returned back to our room for a short rest till about 10am where we headed off to the place for all of us to bond as a team. PAINTBALL.(stimulated version of counter strike) was a super fun game and we even got to play in the rain and I seriously think my fingers are too long, keep getting shot at my fingers area. Was the part that was the most memorable because we managed to have fun and also at the same time experience real-life counter strike.
Showered back at the hotel and prepared our minds and bodies for the friendly that we are going to have against the Malaysian team. Their guys are super skilful and fast.mamposs..had problems chasing them and stealing their ball but after the first period we got used to their style and managed to steal their balls quite a number of times. The friendly was well played even though we lost, we managed to work on our defence and also attack. Friendly was just for us to experience.
Day3
Given more rest time and this time I had not showered in the morning because was too cold to get out of bed and decided to rest more. Got up and washed up and met the rest in the lobby for breakfast. After breakfast, had to prepare ourselves for morning training and at training, we did some light training and played some games. Played some reaction game as well as hunter, squirrel and forest. Had fun and quite a number of us had to do forfeit for not being able to fund shelter or squirrel.funny game though.haa
Returned back to hotel after training and showered before heading for lunch and the longest break time. We were given time to shop as well as lunch and had to include at least an hour of nap but apparently all of us took at least 1 and a half hours of nap. Headed off for friendly with almost the same people again and then returned to hotel for shower and met at joreen’s room. Prepared for ruyi’s birthday celebration and went to her room after she showered to sing her a birthday so touched her heart can…hahaha
After everything, we went to karmun’s room and lied on her bd and talked though I was half conscious, we still stayed there till 2.45am before returning to our rooms. Yati,Sheryl, karmun, joreen and I were lying on the same bed chatting till the wee hours.
Day4
Got up later that the day before as we were given a longer rest and then was breakfast again. After breakfast, met at janelle’s room and did some team talk and ruyi and Janelle talked quite a bit till around 10plus before all of us headed back to our rooms to pack and met to do our last shopping before returning back to Singapore in the afternoon. Walked around and bought the stuff that we wanted and then rushed to secret recipe for the cheese cakes.mmmmhmm..delicious
After that, rushed back to my room and collected my baggage before meeting at the lobby to depart from KL.
Overall, the trip was a memorable and enjoyable one. It enabled us to bond more closely to one another in the team, even with the coach and advisor. We also gained more playing experience. No regret planning for this trip.
