Camp

hey tooties...

Finally am able to blog again after 4 full days of intensive training camp. The first day was the most powerful day of all. The moment we reach the meeting place, we put down our things and had to report to the floorball court for the first activity of the day which was, sprinting, running, jacob's ladder and all strengthening exercises. All these were strenuous but was fun afterall. The first day of the camp was shiok as it make us make use of our abdominal muscles and strengthens them. how wonderful it would be to have nice abs! hee

Had to get up early every morning for morning PT and the first day of PT was running. Prison Break! The distance was about 5.5km and we managed to complete the run though we were aching badly. ha=) the camp was a rather enjoyable camp despite the fact that it was a intensive training camp. We still were able to have fun during the ball training sessions where the girls and guys play mixed floorball game after some drills and basic skills. We had a match against one another and the score was very close. It's actually quite fun to play mixed game because at least it would create some bonds among the guys and girls of the floorball team in RP, which is a good thing. One thing that happened was that the guys are very funny la. they did some funny action at one another when they managed to score against the other which created the atmosphere. It makes me happy to be able to see all smiling and laughing happily.

Overall, the camp was a success and I hope to have more of such camps and that we would show result in the upcoming IVP matches.

that's all folks.

Christmas

hey tooties..

here I am once again. I haven been blogging for a long time as while I was typing the post halfway, I fell asleep and did not manage to save up the post that I typed out due to the lack of sleep for the entire day. It was partly due to the reason that I went to church at expo which was super far from my house in the morning to attend a christmas service with jasmine and liz and went to sbbc in the evening for the evening service. I had intended to stay over at the church after the evening service as we were having a christmas carolling session at 3 respective houses.

After the carolling session, we returned back to church and had a short gathering session in a room and talked quite a bit while the game ICs were preparing the equipments required for the game. The first game was candle fight. Quite an interesting game though as it's my first time playing such a game. After which, we played for 3 rounds and had much fun in that game. hurr.. It was nice to see everyone enjoying themselves during the game session and it shows how much the team mate matters to achieve the objective of the game.

After the game, we continued with the second game which was church hide-and-seek-and catch. The game was carried out in the dark and it can be quite scary because you might be on your own. We played 3 rounds of it and soon it was time for breakfast. Headed over to west coast park for breakfast at macs and then went to play for a while at the playing area. After that, the few of us decided to head to west coast recreation club for pool and some of us played bowling because some were underaged to enter the pool room. Had fun overall and was quite a memorable christmas day.

that's all folks

hey tooties..

Went to the dentist in the morning for my regular check and the dentist told me that my teeth are in good condition and therefore did the washing and polishing for my beautiful set of teeth. hurr

Met meiwen at 1315 and manage to catch the bus at around 1325. The ride to Valhall took less than 30 mins and true enough we reached there quite early. Alighted upon seeing The Cage and went to grab a bite at Mac since our stomachs are growling. Shortly after lunch, we headed to the Valhall which seemed very small. Waited for quite a while for the person to open the door to the shop but after 30mins of looking high and low for the keys, it was still no where in sight. In the end, he had to climb in through the window on the second level, like a professional burglar, in order to unlock the door to the shop for us to get our desired stick. hee

I finally got myself the stick of my own and its a first-hand stick. No more a second hand stick. It's gonna be my baby from now on..haha.. My christmas gift that costs quite a hole in my pocket but at least I'm satisfied with it out of my own pocket but before that I contemplated for quite some time. Finally coming to a decision and hopefully I can do well with the stick. " red oval-gripped Exel - masters 2.7". whoosh.

Think that's all about it for today. Enjoy your day =)

hey tooties...

Finally I managed to use the floorball stick and use it on court but not at home. Being able to use it on court feels good and I've noticed that my shots are mostly off target. This isn't a good sign though. Guess that's the result of having such a long break and its partly due to the maintenance work that should be completed but apparently it has not started as the works upstairs has not been comleted yet. This shows that we are not allowed to have long breaks.haha.. Luckily, I still went out for a game or two of badminton which helped me keep up my stamina a bit. hurr

While training, we were doing the drill whereby Ruyi thinks that improvements should be made to the shots we produced. There was this one time when the pass came to me and contacted with my blade pretty well for me to release the shot but the shot went off target instead. It hit Duck straight on her nose with a "piak" sound instead of hitting the goalpost. I was like "mad-ness", she is gonna hurt big time and I saw her reaction instantly la. Her stick flew can....Gosh-ness.. Her nose is gonna hurt big time. I was so afraid cos that shot was quite hard if I were to gauge from the power I put in. She went to the washroom and told me that her nose bled and that was the point of time when I was scared la..oh man..I've injured her again.

She then said this sentence, " everybody say I have a nice nose and look what you have done to my nose, flat already la" hahaha.. I'm sorry Duck, I didn't mean it. the shot just went off target. She then started singing the christmas carol, " Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer, has a little shiny nose."

Training was fun. Finally like after 123456789000 days did I get to play floorball again.
That's all folks. Have a nice holiday=) *smiles

Cool Tuesday!_!

hey tooties...

Tuesday with my darling friend. It's been a long time since I met up with her and the last time I met up with her was a mere 2 to 3 hours which was insufficient for us to catch up with one another. Today, both of us had actually dedicated the entire day for each other and it was indeed a fruitful one. We met at around noon for a game of 2 hours and this ger here, stamina has reduced greatly due to the lack of training and all. Halfway through the game, she actually told me to stop cos she felt lethargic and so I played on with her sister and waited for her to step onto court once again.

Once again, halfway through she told us that she wants to retire and she can't take the tired-ness anymore. Both her sister and I refrained her from dong so and made her play more. Played for the whole 2 hours with short breaks in between as it was had been a long time since she exercised. After games, it started raining heavily and so we stood deciding whether to walk in the rain. Soon enough, this gentleman from Raffles offered to lend us his umbrella and even walked us to the train station. Sucha gentleman! Thanks dude!!=)

Went to my house and had nothing much to do while waiting for dinner and so the both of us decided to watch Bring it On 3 together. SHA-BOO-YA! haa..

Basically, that was how I spent my day with her. Even though it was simply spent together, the time we spent together was worth it. It was cheap but wonderful. hurr

The Christmas Tree

hey tooties...

this is what I found interesting after surfing the net and staying home for the whole entire monday. haaa

The Christmas Tree

A beautifully decorated evergreen tree, with colored lights ablaze inspires in many warm memories of Christmases long past. The Christmas tree has become one of the most beloved and well know holiday symbols.
The tradition of a holiday tree has been around since ancient times and has played an important part in winter celebrations for many centuries. Many pagan festivals used trees when honoring their gods and spirits. In Northern Europe the Vikings considered the evergreen a symbol and reminder that the darkness and cold of winter would end and the green of spring would return. The Druids of ancient England and France decorated oak trees with fruit and candles to honor their gods of harvests. At the festival Saturnalia the Romans decorated trees with trinkets and candles.
There have also been many legends surrounding the lore of the Christmas tree. In one story Saint Boniface, an English monk, came upon a group of pagans who had gathered around an oak tree and were preparing to sacrifice a child. To stop the sacrifice and save the child, the Saint flattened the oak tree with one blow of his fist. A small fir sprang up in its place, which Saint Boniface told the pagans was the Tree of Life and represented the life of christ.
Another legend tells of Martin Luther, the founder of the Protestant religion, walking through the woods late one night. As it was clear, many stars were shining through the branches of the trees giving the impression of twinkling lights. Luther was so inspired by the beauty of the sight that he cut down a small evergreen and brought it home. He recreated the stars by putting candles on the tree's branches.
The use of a Christmas tree indoors appears to have begun in Germany. German Christians would bring trees into their homes to decorate. In some areas evergreen trees were scarce so the families would build a Christmas pyramid, simple wooden structures which they decorated with branches and candles.
The tradition of the Christmas tree eventually spread through out Europe. The English Royalty help popularize the tree in England by decorating the first Christmas tree at Windsor Castle in 1841. Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria, decorated the first English Christmas Tree with candles, candies, fruits, and gingerbread.
When the German immigrants went to American they also brought along their Christmas trees. In the 1830's most Americans still considered the Christmas tree an oddity. One of the first public displays of a Christmas tree was set up by German Settlers in Pennsylvania. At the time many still considered the tree to be a symbol of pagans and it wasn't until the late 1800's that Americans began accepting the Christmas tree.
Early Christmas trees were often decorated with apples, nuts, cookies, colored popcorn and candles. The invention of electricity in the early 20th century and use of electrical Christmas lights helped spread the use of the Christmas tree.
It is now common in most communities through out the US to feature public displays of Christmas trees. Every year the President of the United States lights the National Christmas Tree in Washington and in New York skaters spin beneath the lighted tree of Rockefeller Center. Through Europe and the rest of the world the Christmas tree has also become readily accepted and adored.
= THE END =
Christmas is an annual holiday that everyone would celebrate and to be jolly. During this season, children would be looking forward to getting chrismas gifts and to me, this is a season of giving and exchanging and of course it is the conviction that lies at the heart of Wondrous Gift. Christmas is coming in a week's time! ! heee

hey tooties...

Started the day off by going to school on a wet day. Yati and Yanzi had actually planned on going for a swim in the morning but had postponed the time to later. When I reached school, I went to the office hoping to find them inside as it was raining but they weren't. Guess where would they be if not the swimming pool? The badminton court! ! Was standing at the staircase when I heard some noises coming from upstairs but had not thought that it would be them. Indeed, I had found them playing badminton. After playing badminton, they decided to go for a swim and I actually sat there to watch them swim for 20 laps respectively. weeee...

Headed off to lunch at the lobster house and had the most sumptious lunch for the first time in school. Ate mee goreng, kangkong, beancurd and lastly agaragar. Yummy-licious! Decided to start packing up some stuff before everything ends to save time later on. Was keeping the table when it fell and at that point of time I thought of saving the ground instead of rescuing my feet. I decided to allow it to land on my feet, but my toe to be exact. Wondered why I had made that decision but too bad it had all happened. Expect my toe to be bruised and true enough, it was bruised. Think my toe will be colourful in no time.

Watched the 2 periods of the friendly match between the International team and RP Salsaz team. We defeated them by 1 point and it was quite good as the other team contained quite a lot of good players. Thematch was seriously of a faster pace and the intensity of the game was definitely high as it was filled with most of the fast runners. PeEwww.. After the match, were supposed to push back the benches but has to push that off as it was raining pigs and rats outside. Continued watching the guys training and saw the new drills that they did. Quite interesting and hoped that I could join in but too bad! Left foe home and in order to complete the work required to be done.

Think that was all for the whole of today ba.. thats all folks!

To All of my Darling Friends and People whom I know and care for

Hey tooties...
This is one poem that I found and would like to dedicate it to all of my friends, people who knows me, cares for me, whom I cared for and people who have always been there giving their moral support. I would like to dedicate this poem to You, my friends. No matter if you are tall, short, fat, tall, long, skinny, big small, old, young, pretty or ugly, all of you will lways be my friends and I have always cared for you. To many, even if we have lost our contact or have not contacted each other, I have never forgotten you and you would always be My Friend wherever you are. =)
ready.........................
this is how it goes.....

My Friend

We all need someone
To talk to in our life,
A friend to whom we run
In times of stress or strife
A friend who's always there
Throughout the years,
A friend we know will care
And take away our fears.
A friend who's always near,
Waiting for our call,
To wipe away our tears,
And lift us when we fall.
A loving friend indeed,
On whom we can depend
To fulfill our every need -
Thank you, precious friend.
I will always love all of you no matter how far apart or distanced we are.
Thank You and I Love You! ! !

hey tooties...

I had not the time to blog yesterday due to the need for competion of the camp schedule pretty soon. I had to try to look at the guys and combine the physical trainings as well as not clashing with their usage of the court as we have the IVP Physical Training Camp at the same time. Started to edit the schedule since I was in school when all my darlings are enjoying and acquiring new skills and I had to sit out due to the injury gotten from the friendly on Monday. Its sad to sit out and not bein able to participate in the training and am tempted to play with the stick but had some constraints.

Today, was supposed to meet ms owl who was coming to school for a swim supposedly but she did not manage to as she was busy talking to her lala-friends and forgot the time. I'm a very nice person can. Since I was supposed to help yan zi eventually, I saw her busy arranging the benches alone and so being a kind soul with a big huge gigantic heart, I decided to lend her my hands. Helped out and waited for the arrival of the guests who would be present for the IFF( International Floorball Federation). Were busy till the time they arrived and still busy until all of them were settled down did I begin to stone.

After their dinner, had to shift some benches to the aerobics room where the lectures on coaching would be held and yanzi, meiwen, melvin and I decided to settle ourselves with the people who are gonna take the coaching course. Watched a short videoo and followed by the practical session. Learnt a couple of new drills and may implement into the girls training. It looks weird to look at all the various coaches undergoing drills like we always does and they definitely look like how we look on court. The sameness of the characters were displayed. After all the hands-on session was the games part. It was the part where most of the people were looking forward to as it they had to listen to lectures for the past 5 to 6 hours which was super energy draining. The people were divided into 2 teams : "Singapore vs The Rest of the World". According to Emily, she said that the intensity of the game is super high and is definitely super duper shiok because though it was tiring, the intensity was sufficient.haa. Sat and enjoyed the match and the game ended with a draw. All played well and the skills that various players dispay on court were superb and stylo.

That's all folks. Shall update pretty soon. off to lala-land

Hey tooties...

I chanced upon this poem which means alot to me.

Whenever I needed someone to talk to
You were always there.
My eyes filled with tears, my heart filled with pain, and
You were always there.
There was no time when I had doubt
to come to you because
You were always there.
I could see in your eyes you wanted to help, and that you really cared.

Whenever I was down and blue
You were always there.
No matter my problems, are what was wrong
You were always there.
Whenever I felt like nothing matters
You were always there.

Now your gone, and I don't know what to do
I close my eyes and think of you, and how
You were always there.
It's hard to look at the pictures, and get memories of you
Can you hear me now
At night I pray, and I speak to you
I guess you were right when you told me no matter how far you were
You would always be there.
I know one day I'll see you again, but till then I have to say goodbye

Even though it hurts to hear your name, and speak of you
One thing I will always say is
You were always there.

= Zac =

hey tooties...

Oh goshness.. I think my arm have become worse after the trip from the Skools player during the friendly match yesterday. At that point of time, I fel my arm go out of place for a moment and returned and so I continued playing. Went home and iced it when ms owl advised me to do so or else the injury would be bad. Guess what, when I got up I found difficulty bringing my arm up and I'm unable to apply too much force on it because it would hurt badly. I've to announce that I'm partially handicapped for the moment. haha.. That wold most likely mean that I may not be able to play floorball for a short period of time. grrr=/

I've made up my mind to blog at this time because I've got nothing better to do now but to laze around.hurrr..=) I'd just returned from the woodlands stadium after watching half of the first match and the second match of APAC. Went to causeway for lunch and den both of us decided to head home as both of us were feeling very lethargic. The first matc between the Singapore junior team and the Australians were well fought but towards the end, the Australians manage to break the defence somehow and/or maybe the players let down their guts. The final scoreline for that match was a draw of 7 - 7.

The second match was between Singapre B and the Malaysians and the Malaysians were thrashed badly with a score of 11 - 2. The Malaysians were too tired to pay and at the same time, they did not have their more professional goalie and the coach was not present. This may have resulted in their loss but at least they managed to close up the score gap by 2 goals.

Another day of Floorball

hey tooties...

got out of bed even before my alarm went off and wanted to get back to sleep but on second thought, I felt like catching the Apac games at the woodlands stadium but thought that by the time I reached, the match would have already ended so I left home later. was expected to meet my friend, "ms owl" but on the way, she msg-ed me and told me she just got up and so I decided on dropping by at woodlands stadium to catch the next match which was Australians vs the Malaysians and as expected, the aussies won by the score of 4-2. The match was tightly fought between the bigs and the small. hurhur...

after the match, headed off to school and told ms owl that the sky seemed overcasted and maybe she should not come or otherwise her trip down from central to woodlands would be a waste and since " time is money and money is time" she decided to accompany her sis to the doc. True enough, it started to pour lions and tigers the moment i reached school and was reading in the library. I actually read science related books okay though it was filled with all the chimnologies.hahahaha

Prepared for my friendly against the Skools player but many were late due to the rain, traffic conjestion and all. The match was good. Even though we lost to them by a score of 8 - 6, I think we did quite well but halfway through the match, I got partially injured. I was running with the ball with the player chasing from the back and trying to get the ball and den her stick hooked my leg and i tripped and fell. From there, I realised that I got back my old injury and it seems that I have to stop training for the time being again..sighs

Hopefully it is nothing much and would recover like tomorrow?

hey tooties..

Updates once again.. Came back after the lunch at holland v and rested for like 1 hour. chatted on the phone for about 20mins with my dearest friend, yusie and updated the blog at the same time. After that, hung up and prepared to head off to catch the APAC games at woodlands stadium. Met meiwen and mcken at causeway point den headed pff to the stadium. It was a rousing and enthralling match between the Singapore A team and the Australians. The stadium was filled with exhilaration where the supporters cheered on the teams playing. The match ended with Singapore leading by 3 - 0 after a closely fought game on court with all the flying sticks, broken sticks, unpicked shoes, mostly flying and sliding people on and out of the court.

Overall, the match was eventful and the scores were all nicely scored though. Hopefully, the RP adroits are able to play like them in the friendly match tomorrow against Skools. I'm itching for floorball now after not touching it for so long. Looking forward to the match tomorrow and belief that adroits can do well as a team. 1 2 3 Adroits! ! !

Three-some lunch

nydc

hey tooties..

I'm back to update you guys again. Woke up with a bad stomach cramp and so continued sleeping till like noon time, gave going to church a miss.

When my brother returned, he entered with a bag of clothes all for both my sister and I. wooo.. After sorting out the shirts, my sister was like saying.. "I feel like eating lasagna leh". My brother replied by saying, "okay la, we go eat with you but you treat us!" haha.. the facial expression that covered my sister's face was damn hilarious. hurhur...

Before heading out, my mum came back from the dentist and saw the bed covered with clothes and we started talking. she den looked at my sisters face and said " ni de lian de pampers hao le hor?" but actualliy she meant "ni de lian de pimples hao le hor?" hahaha... i could not control but to laugh out loud.hahaha.. after that, i went to take a bath and my mum was talking about what happened to my maid's teeth and she was complaining that the pain is back once again. as a hole was found in that tooth, many food stuff tends to get stuck there and so the pain. after the removal of the dirt, antibiotics was injected in maybe to prevent infections or so. i started to say that the cause of the pain might be partly because the "anti-buttocks" is taking action, where i actually meant "anti-biotics" had a good laugh of the day..

we then made up our mind to go to N.Y.D.C for a lunch. Its been long since the 3 of us went out for lunch together and enjoyed sucha a sumptious meal together.

after all, we went out for a three-some lunch at n.y.d.c in holland v.

Wet and Wild Day

hey tooties..

The APAC has just begun and the first game was Australia vs Malaysia with the aussies leading 10 goals to 3. The next match up was Singapore(seniors) vs Singapore(juniors) with the seniors leading with 5 goals to 2 and the last match was Singapore(juniors) vs Malaysia but once again, they led with 5 goals to 2 again. The match was a tough fight whereby people fly out of the boards, sliding across the court and pushes.

All in all, the matches were exciting and eye popping session at the woodlands sports hall. All played well, taking advantage of the opportunities for them to score and defeat the rest. No matter what, all did well and more games to come. APAC will be on from today all the way till tuesday.

The day for me was alright cos my time were spent wisely by supporting our home team and at the same time enjoying myself. All was well today.

An Adventurous Day

hello tooties..
As stated by the title, I've had a really adventurous day with wirni. Had decided on going to support rp's very own touch rugby at turf city. never had i expected turf city to be a trekking trip. We alighted a stop before we are expected to as my dad double-confirmed that I alighted at the right stop. I followed accordingly and found out that I could actually alight a stop after walking for 1.5km. hurr!

Never had I known that the sports field was located so deep in even after we entered after we saw the sign board stating "Turf City". We walked and walked like as if we were tracking but tracking by the roadside. Drivers that passes by gave us some kind of look like saying "What are the 2 girls doing?" kind of look. Cabs even prepared to stop for us but we still continued walking under the scorching sun, bearing hopes and were determined of reaching soon. We managed to reach the shopping mall after walking for like 214368581km.

Being insistent on finding the field, we took a break by entering the mall and appreaciated the air-condition and got ourselves quencher from Giant Supermart then found our way to the field. The sports field at turf city is super weird as the spectators stand and the field is like one forest away. The route to the field was super chocolatie. First time to Turf City and found it to be so adventurous.

After watching the match, headed off to town to meet our dearest goalie, munie for a sumptious lunch at the Nana Thai Restaurant. Ate claypot chicken rice, fried beef kway teow, seafood mee goreng and the best seafood tom yam soup ever. The first ever dish to make me tear in front of my friends. Down to grab the yuppie-yummie fried mars bar. yummylicious! ! Then headed back home to settle some family stuff.

*hugsnkisses*

Creation of a Land

Helloss.. This land has just been created and born by a nonsensical person.
Hurhur =)
