revolving around floorball

hey tooties...

guess it's time for me to update more about my weekends now. as the girls floorball tem had been suspended from using any sport facilities in school for training due to one of our team mates being caught wearing slippers to school, we had to stop training for one week and so we have not been training as a team for one whole week. that is, seven days, 168 hours, 10080 minutes or 604800 seconds. that is a very long time. it might seem long but time flies you see..hee

on friday, we had friendly with the mjc guys team at valhall. the flooring is good and full of friction but the court is super small, plus it is stuffy and the friction is killer. too much friction might make us fall. we might not slip and fall but we can trip and fall at that court. guess we are just not used to the court.no doubt, we still did well!! *claps, well done everyone*

saturday, left house around 12 to meet the rest at somerset at 1 and as usual, I would be the punctual one and so decided to grab some bites. bought some subway cookies that would be my lunch for the day and true enough, all were late except for peiling who was already waiting there for us. hahaha..as usual, we will wait for the rest to turn up and ya, hey reached around 2 which is 1 hour later than the meeting time.imagine meeting them at 2, they will turn up at 3..
hahaha.
since our dear miss wee needs to get her sandals, we went to find it at heerens and the size that she wanted was not in stock and after checking with all the outlets, she managed to find it in the outlet at cathay and so we bus-ed over with her to get it. we then met peipei there and went back to taka to meet the rest before the floorball carnival. we reported at 3.45 and waited for like at least 4 hours before the start of our match.my goodness!!! the first match was rather scary because it's been long since the last 3-on-3 tournament and of course I felt butterflies in my stomach, especially being the last man as the job of the last man is rather important, which is to defend the palace.
we won the first few matches but lost one as a result of penalty shootout but it was a good game though. we managed to reach the semi-finals and compete for the third and fourth position but ended up getting the fourth position as we were super-ly tired from the continuous games and the fact that we could not see the ball properly.our opponents were rather stong too, an aggressive bunch of players man. as a result, CONGRATS to Skools 1789 and RP Whooooo for getting second and fourth position respectively. went to eat together after the prize presentation at Food Republic with some skools players and we were having so much fun together, joking, crapping, discussing and lastly making a fool of ourselves there. had so much fun and joy hanging out together!!

sunday, the last day of the floorball carnival. the guys under-19, ladies and mens open category. there were quite a number of exciting matches and we enjoyed loitering from court to court watching and enjoying the exciting matches. was there since the morning at 9am in the morning. that explains the red-ness of my arms and my face. Congrats to team Palabim Palaboom for coming in third in the under-19 category, both the skools teams in the open mens category and lastl to team sweethappysoda of the ladies open category.
* All of you did and played well. cheers *
